Introduction.

A dark day has occurred in the lives of many. Rain was pouring in bunches. The location. Kagoshima, Japan. Tears were running down a lot of faces. The spirits in general were running low. Everything looked so lifeless. As if someone ended the life of every single living thing. The most tears were shed by a young, grieving teenager who looked lost. His name was Benjiro Takahashi. The sad occasion was the funeral of the legendary police chief Mato Takahashi, father of Benjiro. He had done his job for two and a half decades and was arguably the most respected man in his field. The fact that he was shot in the head without hesitation made it even more tragic. Benjiro, who already grew up without a mother, now lost every part of family that he ever had in his life. Social interactions were not his strong point. He never felt like being a part of a family. He had his dad, who cared for him and made sure to raise him well. Besides that, he had his friends at school. But with them he didn't want to talk about feelings or anything that related to his personal life.
The funeral went on and the rain got stronger and stronger. After the ceremony, that made many burst into tears again, people got together in little groups and talked about the man of the hour.  Benjiro took a moment for himself and his dad. He walked up to his grave, kneeled down and whispered. „Thank you for everything you’ve done for me. For many you have been a great man. But for me, you have been so much more. A father. A mentor. A role model. No one understands me like you do. I will never forget what you have done for me. Rest in peace, dad...“ A tear was slowly moving down his cheek. Benjiro never expected this day to come so soon.

How to make Hasselback Potatoes

First of all. If you dont know what that is, here is a picture.

Ingredients:
- Bag of potatoes
- Bacon
- Cheese (doesn't matter which one, as long as it melts)
- Butter
- Olive Oil

If you are really into it you can also make your own "sour cream". For that you need.
- Sour cream
- Onions
- A little bit of lemon juice
- Garlic
- A bit of Coriander

What you have to do is mix that all into a big bowl and stir it up nicely. Then you have to put it in the fridge until you're done with the rest of the food.

First things first. To save time preheat the oven to 180° Celsius (360 F).
Choose however many potatoes you wish and cut in these little gaps. For help you can take chopsticks and put them on each side of the potatoe so you dont cut all the way through it. Once you're done with that you can put butter in the gaps and put a little bit of olive oil on top of them. Put them in the oven for 50 minutes. The next step is to take the bacon and cut it up in very small pieces. (Just like on the picture.) Put them in the pan and start making them soft. Once the 50 minutes are over you can remove the potatoes from the oven and put the cheese on every single one. When you are done with that put them back in the oven for roughly 10 minutes. Basically, just to melt the cheese. Just have an eye on it and take it out when the cheese is melted. When you have taken it out put in the little bacon pieces onto the potatoe. Now is also the time to take out the sauce from the fridge and spread it all over the potatoes.
Bon appetit, everybody.

A present for the summertime :)

Wasup everybody! So recently was my mother's birthday and we celebrated with the family. My parents purchased a house in Croatia a few months back and completely built it from scratch. It all went very fast and now they love it so much that they spend the majority of the holidays there.
I thought about the present for my mom and decided that I have to buy her something for the house. They always take pictures and then show me and my brother when they come home. Well. Recently they discovered some really beautiful and empty beaches and they really like going there. So my present was this:

                                                         Tasche aus jute-baumwoll-mix | MANGO
I went to Mango and found this bag. My intention was to give her this to pack things for the beach. Two weeks after her birthday she and also my dad said that they love it and are so happy to have it. So if you need something for your beach vacation, click me. It's really not expensive and people seem to like it very much. Why not give it a try?

Happy Sunday Guys, since Keeping Up with the Kardashian we know that the names Jenner and Kardashian are real brands that are associated with success. Following the Makeup/ Instagram-Trend, I have bought these two Kylie Cosmetics Products, one gloss and one matte lipstick....and I am very satisfied.

Just. Jump. :)

Before you go crazy and accuse me of something. No. I'm not promoting suicide.
This is all about letting yourself go. Exploring. Finding all the beauties in life. People tend to get caught in vicious circles that they can't leave or can't break out of. Sometimes people don't want to leave it. Because they feel safe in it. They know everything and everyone around them. However, that isn't always good.
The reason why I'm writing this right now is because I want to encourage people. There are so many beautiful places in this world. I bet you won't even have to travel far to find them. The only thing you have to do is leave your comfort zone. Not even for long. People might say "It's dangerous when I go out. I don't know the people here. I don't even know this location here."
Well. Of course there are some risks but they are overshadowed by all the positive feelings you get when you finally break free. New friends. New favourite restaurants. New beaches. Everything is so new and fascinating. I've talked about this in an earlier post. As kids we all had this characteristic. We were all curious. We all wanted to explore new things. It is so sad to see this fade away more and more. Even if something bad happens to you (I hope you will all be safe). It's an experience. An experience that you will have for the rest of your life. Just enjoy the blessings of life and don't think about the negative stuff. Push everything negative aside and just be happy. With everything going on in the world it might be a bit hard, but you can make it. I believe in you. Just. Jump. :)

The End.

What he saw were two words. Written right across the front door. The words were written in blood. Jason wondered if that was the blood of his wife. Suddenly he heard a noise behind him. He quickly turned around but nothing was there. Jason was terrified. He had never felt this much anxiety in his life. The words on the door were "You're next." That was it. Nothing else. All the lights in the house were turned off. It was pitch black. He was really scared but found enough curiousity in him to slowly open the door. If someone was in that house, he or she definitely heard Jason thanks to the loud squeak of the door. It always made that noise. Jason pulled out his phone and turned on his little flashlight. He was barely able to see anything. The first thing he did was sneak into the kitchen. There was nobody there. The house had this weird smell to it. Jason knew that something was.. off. Maybe he didn't have to look for the criminal. Maybe he came to Jason. He wanted to erase that thought instantly. When he looked around the kitchen he saw that one big kitchen knife was missing. Of course one thing crossed his mind but like the other thought he just wanted to forget it.
After looking around the mainfloor and the first floor, there was only one thing left to check. The basement. Jason could feel his fear growing. He had no other choice than to check. Obviously he could call the police again but he was scared that something would happen to his wife when the criminal heard the sirens. He openend the basement door. It was ever darker downstairs. He went slowly. Step by step. That lightbulb that was turned on was the only source of light beside his flashlight. Wait. The lightbulb. Jason had a flash of insight. The picture on his phone. It was the same lightbulb. When he reached the bottom of the staircase he looked around and suddenly saw a body. It was his wife. She was tied onto a chair. She wasn't lying on the floor like on the picture. That meant somebody was here. Jason felt more in danger than ever before. He started sweating again. He thought about his next movement. He thought he would get jumped if he just walked up to his lifeless wife. But he had to. He loved this woman to death. He would do anything for her. He had never seen his wife like this. He wanted to untie her but all of a sudden the lightbulb went out. Jason couldn't see a thing. It was also too dangerous to turn on the flashlight again. He wanted to feel her. He realized that he might had not much time left in his life. He touched his wife. And strangely enough, he felt a sense of happiness. A sense of content. A sense of love. Those feelings went away in a hurry when he heard footsteps. The footsteps came closer. Jason knew that it was soon to be over with him. "Why are you doing this to me and my family?!" Jason shouted with a lot of force in his voice. "For fun." was the dry answer of the criminal. It was a mature, manly voice. The footsteps came even closer. The man must've stood right in front of him. He knew his smell. It was a famous parfume. Before Jason could do anything, he felt a knife in his chest. He saw his life flashing before his eyes. Every memory he had. Every memory he wanted to make. Everything was just... gone. Out of reach. He fell to the floor, coughing. These were his last moments. "I.. I.. love you Baby." were the last words he ever said. His voice never was that soft and powerless. He closed his eyes and stopped breathing.
To this day this case never got solved.

The second to last part. Buckle up Ladies and Gentleman.

"It can't be true. Something must have went wrong." The lady said in a sad tone. "Just tell me already!" Jason got a bit louder but had himself under control. "The number doesn't exist. We have looked through every file. Searched everything. Nothing." The lady looked at Jason with her big blue eyes and she saw how his eyes got watery. That was it. A few hours ago his life was normal. Nothing special but normal. And all of a sudden everything falls apart. Thanks to one call. One text. One picture. "What do i do now..?" Jason's voice got very soft. "Drive home. Try to get some sleep. We will try our best to find anything and we will contact you soon."
So Jason listened. He already knew that he wouldn't get any sleep. He didn't even know what to expect when he got home. Where was his son? Was he safe? Or did he get kidnapped and hurt as well? The only thing Jason could do was find out. So he did that. He drove home. On his way he thought about how the person did that. How can you have a phone and can't be tracked. No one knew who he or she was. No one. Jason got really angry on his way home. When he arrived at his home he got out of the car. It was already very dark outside. The only light source was the moon and the fading light of the car. He walked up to the front door. The next thing he saw almost made him unconscious...

I don't know what to do with this story.. This is part 3

The clock on his wrist showed 8:38 pm. There was no more rain but a cold breeze now and then was enough to give Jason a cold shiver. He parked his car outside the police department and walked up to the office. He knocked on the door hoping that someone had an open ear for him. And someone had. Officer Smith told Jason to sit down so they could talk. "My wife got kidnapped and someone hurt her! Please help me! Please!" Jason's heart was beating so fast. "Alright. Alright. Calm down. How do you know this?" The officer tried to calm Jason down but it was already too late. "This random number sent me a picture of my wife with cuts in her face! Please I'm freaking out!" Jason showed him the picture. "Okay." he said, "we are onto it right now." Smith got up and walked out of the room. Jason had never felt a feeling like this ever in his life. It felt like he already lost his wife. He started to lose hope. A woman suddenly knocked on the door of the office Jason was sitting in. He made a gesture that meant she could come in. It was a middle aged woman with long brown hair and blue eyes. She wasn't wearing a police uniform. Jason already thought that she had something to do with tracking the phone or finding out who it belongs to. That thought proved to be correct when she told him to stand up and follow her. They arrived in a big meeting room with people sitting at a big round table. The lady was holding a piece of paper in her hand. When she laid it on the table Jason had a brief look at the sheet and there was a name on in. They already found out whose phone it is. Jason was fascinated how fast they managed to find it out. The look on the woman's face wasn't promising. It was not the face you make when you made progress. "Mr. King. (that was Jason's last name) I don't have good news for you." Jason's heart dropped. A second ago he praised the police department. He was happy about how quick things move in here. That message broke his heart. He felt like he got sucked into the chair. It was as if he had no energy at all in his body. "What is it? What happenend?" Jason had no idea what the answer was going to be. "The number that sent you that horrible picture... It...

A (still) random, (still) unfinished story

Bildergebnis für dark sky

Jason didn't really know why but he was scared. He was terrified that something had happenend to his wife. Or his son. Or even both. It was like he forgot how to drive a car. His mind was racing. He procrastinated whether he should return the call. Or look at the text. He decided to look at the text first. It suddenly stopped raining. The world outside was quiet. Too quiet. But John didn't seem to care. I think that's called living in the moment. He openend his messages. There was that mysterious number again. When he opened the text, he couldn't believe his eyes. There was no message. There was just a picture. John didn't really spot any humans or shapes or anything so he increased the brightness on his phone. Looking at the picture now I guess he would have wished to never see something like that. The picture showed his wife. Lying on the floor. With cuts in her face and tears running down her cheeks. The room was very dark. One lightbulb for an entire room just isn't enough. Well. It was enough for somebody. Jason didn't know how to feel. Everything seemed so... empty. His world was collapsing. People that walked by his car already asked if he was okay. But he didn't notice them. All he could think about was his wife. And who did this to her. And how he was gonna save her. The problem was that he had no information. Heck, he didn't even know why someone would do something like that to any of his family members. His life was completely ordinary. He never got into fights, he never did anything that could haunt him in the future. He was a well educated, reasonable man.
He suddenly got an idea. There was one mistake this man or woman made. They showed their phone number. The police should be able to track the phone down, see who it belongs to and arrest him or her. That was what he was going to do. He started the engine back up and went on the quickest route. The only two things he needed right now were help and information. The police would be a good place to maybe get both.

A random, unfinished story

Jason was driving home from work in his old and rusty Chevrolet. He was driving in the pouring rain. The car needed some repairing really badly and the rain made it even rustier. Jason hated his job. In his company he was just a face like most of his co-workers. He missed being special. Being needed. Having the feeling that you are important for someone. Well. This was about to change completely when his phone was vibrating in his pocket. It wasn't a text. It was a call. Jason obviously didn't know who called him but being a reasonable driver he didn't pick up the phone. He waited until he got home. He was driving right into the sunset. While he watched the sun go down he thought about his life. His wife. His son. The daughter that is already on the way. He thought back to how he met his wife. How they used to spend time together in highschool working on projects together. She would always be the smart one. That didn't change in all this time. The sky got darker and darker and the rain slowly began to stop. He was all sucked up into memories when his phone vibrated again. This time a text. That got him kinda worried. Normally his phone was very silent. Jason wanted to avoid an accident at any cost but when he peaked to his phone he couldn't really visualize what was written on the screen. He stopped the car to look closer and saw a number that he has never seen before. It was the same number that had called him like 10 minutes earlier. There was a sweat bead coming out of Jason's forehead. Normally his life is very ordinary. Nothing too crazy ever happens to him. Until this day...

Catch beauty. Create art.

Art is something, that we humans create to reveal feelings, to express emotions, to show beauty, to depict life in another way and sometimes we create masterpieces to win someones heart. And this belongs to my love story. Probably I sound like a pyschopathic fangirl, but I believe that the portrait of someone who is beautiful can be a very unique gift. I tend to draw portraits due to fact that human faces can be amazingly matchless and beautiful, but the best thing is to draw the face you love the most. The first drawing of my boyfriend, my Boo, my Bae..whatever. My first artwork of him was the reason for our get-to-know. Retrospective I am very happy that drawing is part of my life, I mean it is very hard to impress someone with good marks or i dunno...excellent gaming-skills.
And now I would like to show you a little sneak peek of my drawingskills (I know the are not that good) and I would like say "Thank u" to my handsome muse, Cboy.

How well do you know your city?

Yesterday was the 5th of Juy 2016. Great. This already sounds like a highschool homework. Anyway. I don't wanna brag or anything but I found out something. I was just strolling around my hometown, which is Vienna, without any idea of where I was. But isn't that the cool thing? As children one of the strongest characteristics is curiosity. The will to explore new things and find things of which you never knew they existed. As people grow older and the technological progress doesn't seem to slow down, people tend to lose that will. Looking up where you have to go and how you will get there is obviously more relaxing. But you have to break out of it sometimes. When I walk down the streets I see less and less people doing that which is very sad. Yesterday I was concious of my decision. I knew that my phone with internet access was in my pocket. I knew that I could've just openend google maps and figure where I was. But why? I wanted to escape that. I wanted to get outta my comfort zone. I wanted to discover new places on my own without knowing the shortest route to it. And while I was just wandering, looking at places I thought of exactly that misery. Smartphones and other devices suck out the will to explore. Being nosy is great. But I also made the same mistake. I thought that I would know Vienna just because I grew up in this wonderful city. However, there is so much more to it. I really really recommend everyone who is reading this (I don't know how many actually will) to break out of this lifestyle. Think back to when you were a child and didn't have a smartphone. I bet for most of you, those times were filled with joy and happiness. Exploring the world and seeing how beautiful it can be is such a great experience. And if you think that I'm a complete idiot for saying such things, I'm really happy that you've read until here. Trust me. You should try it. With that being said. Thanks for reading.
